Expertise

Dr Sven Erdmann advises and represents savings banks, commercial banks, development banks, financial services companies and insurance companies. His activities include banking and banking regulations, as well as insolvency and enforcement law, and corporate law issues. 

Another area of specialisation is advising and representing parties - creditors, debtors and insolvency administrators - involved in insolvency proceedings. 

Dr Erdmann has many years of experience in insolvency and restructuring matters and, with his proven expertise, has published numerous works about insolvency law. 

He represents his clients in litigation before state courts and courts of arbitration. Dr Sven Erdmann also functions as an arbitrator in institutional and ad-hoc arbitration proceedings.

Career

He is a counsel at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. 

After studying law at the University of Bonn, he completed his legal training in Cologne with clerkships at renown business law firms. He then gained a doctorate in law from the University of Bonn under Prof doctor honoris causa Urs Kindhäuser, with a thesis on an insolvency law matter.

He was admitted to the bar in 2005.
