Dr Ulrich Fülbier advises companies on all matters of labour law. As well as providing ongoing advice on a day-to-day basis, some of his key areas of focus include management of restructuring measures relating to labour law, including the planning and negotiation of reconciliation of interests and social schemes, as well as managing the subsequent actions against unfair dismissal. In addition, he also regularly provides advice on matters of labour law in the context of company acquisitions, either on the side of the buyer or the seller. Ulrich Fülbier also has particular expertise, for example, in areas that interface with data protection law, distribution law and intellectual property law, and specialises in matters relating to employment protection legislation, industrial constitution law and personnel leasing.

Dr Ulrich Fülbier is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. He has been head of the Labour Law Department since 2020. Before joining GÖRG, he worked as a lawyer for major international law firms in Munich, as well as a boutique firm specialising in sports law in Freiburg.

After studying law at the University of Cologne, he worked in the Hong Kong office of an international law firm, completed his legal training in Cologne and worked for media companies in Hamburg and New York (USA). He subsequently gained a doctorate in law from the University of Cologne, on a comparative law and constitutional law topic. During this time, he spent several months at Columbia University in New York City (USA) as a visiting scholar.

He was admitted to the bar in 2004.
