Dr Oliver Jauch advises the public sector and national and international companies on all aspects of public commercial law, in particular procurement law, as well as subsidy law and public funding law.
He has particular experience in the strategic planning and management of complex procurement in award processes, in particular in the fields of information technology, building construction and civil engineering, academia and research, real estate, healthcare and infrastructure projects. As well as managing the overall award process, Dr Oliver Jauch also handles legal advice regarding contracts, regularly involving specialist colleagues at GÖRG.
Dr Oliver Jauch also advises public contractors and awarding offices in ways to optimise procurement structures and processes, as well as in matters of compliance with procurement law. He also has considerable experience in managing procurement law review and complaint proceedings, both for awarding offices and providers.
In addition, Dr Oliver Jauch is the author of numerous publications on public law and procurement law. He is the co-author of an academic commentary on procurement law (VgV/UVgO), as well as a regular author in “juris Praxis-Report” on procurement law. Furthermore, he is the co-author of a practice commentary on the Hamburg Higher Education Act.
Dr Oliver Jauch is Partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB and has been with GÖRG since 2013.*
After studying law at the University of Hamburg, he completed his legal training in Hamburg and at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. Dr Oliver Jauch obtained his doctorate at the University of Hamburg. He wrote his thesis on a topic of commercial and constitutional law.
He was admitted to the bar in 2009.
