Sebastian Schäfer is an associate in labour law at our Cologne office. He offers advice on all aspects of individual and collective labour law, in particular on the drafting, implementation and termination of employment and service agreements, and for operational and corporate co-determination.

A further area of focus lies in overseeing corporate acquisitions, reorganisations and restructurings.Here he focuses on the metal and electronic sector, trade and services, and the areas of healthcare & life sciences.

Following his degree in law at the University of Cologne, Sebastian Schäfer first worked as a research assistant to Prof. Ulrich Preis at the Institut für Deutsches und Europäisches Arbeits- und Sozialrecht (Institute for German and European Labour and Social Law). Sebastian Schäfer completed his legal training in Cologne, with clerkships at a large international law firm and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Manila (Philippines).

He was admitted to the bar in 2018.
