Expertise

Jens Völksen offers advice on all aspects of individual and collective labour law to employers. In addition to providing ongoing labour law advice, he also manages litigation in labour law disputes, and can look back on numerous successful proceedings before the German Federal Labour Court. A particular focus is on industrial constitutional law within collective labour law. Jens Völksen advises on drafting works agreements, negotiates reconciliation of interests and social schemes in the event of a restructuring, and offers advice on all issues of cooperation with works councils. He also has many years of experience in the application of AVR and MAVO.

His focus is in the logistics and service, health care and church sectors.

Career

Jens Völksen is a counsel at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG, he worked as a lawyer for a major international law firm in Düsseldorf.

After his law studies at universities in Bonn and Sussex (GB), Jens Völksen completed his law training in Bonn and Cologne with clerkships including one at the Arbeitgeberverband der Metall- und Elektroindustrie (Employers Association for the Metal and Electrical Industry).

He was admitted to the bar in 2006.
