[Munich, ] GÖRG has advised JR Holding AG, a portfolio company belonging to the private equity firm AUCTUS Capital Partners’ portfolio, on the acquisition of shares in the recruitment firm Gess & Partner GmbH, Düsseldorf, from the private equity firm capiton IV GmbH & Co. Beteiligungs KG. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. The completion of the transaction is still outstanding pending approval from the Federal Cartel Office.
The Gess Group is specialised in the hiring out of qualified temporary workers for specific projects and the supply of executive staff for permanent employment in business and industry as well as in the IT and medical sectors. With a total of 19 branches, the company is active throughout Germany and employs an average of 1850 project employees.
JR Holding AG, which is headquartered in Ingolstadt, is the management and holding company of the JR Group, which was established in 2009. The Group provides comprehensive recruitment services through its operational units, JR Personal GmbH, Teamzeit GmbH, Inkasso GmbH as well as JR Agentur Arbeit and Sicherheit GmbH. Currently, the Group records a turnover of over €80 million, which is generated at over 30 locations in Germany and Austria.
AUCTUS Capital Partners AG is an independent holding company managing fund capital in excess of €500 million. At the present time, it supports 17 platform companies from diverse sectors of the economy and focuses on the acquisition of majority interests in medium-sized companies.
