[Frankfurt, ] GÖRG has advised Patrizia Immobilien AG in relation to the long-term letting of office space at Am Seestern 24 in Düsseldorf. It was possible to acquire Athlon, a subsidiary of the Daimler Group, as the tenant of the approximately 8,500 m2 space. Athlon, which is a provider of car leasing and fleet management services, has signed an eleven-year lease with an option to renew for an additional four years. This means that the premises are fully let and that their value has increased significantly.
“We are delighted about this important success, which is this year’s largest rental transaction in the significant Düsseldorf-Seestern office premises segment”, commented Michael Thomaß, Head of Asset Management Value Add at PATRIZIA, Munich.
“We are very pleased to have favourably concluded this large rental project together with Patrizia and JLL. It signifies a successful outcome for Patrizia in this market segment and will be beneficial for the building located at Am Seestern 24”, said Dr. Moritz Vettermann, GÖRG’s Frankfurt-based lawyer, who headed the team handling the transaction. Together with Mr. Ingo Winterstein and Dr. Gero Pfeiffer, Dr. Moritz Vettermann joined GÖRG’s real estate practice in Frankfurt at the beginning of the year. The Cologne partner Jan Schellenberger (private construction law) provided advice on construction law issues.
