After studying law at the University of Mannheim with an additional qualification in business administration (corporate lawyer, LL.B.), he studied in South Africa at the University of Cape Town and graduated with an LL.M. specializing in commercial law. He completed his legal clerkship in Berlin with stations at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Department of Economics, at an international law firm in Berlin and at a German law firm in Munich.

He was admitted to the bar in 2021.
