GÖRG provided legal advice to venture capital investor KOMPAS VC on the successful financing round for Cologne-based start-up United Manufacturing Hub (UMH). UMH raised a total of EUR 5 million in capital in the round.
The financing was led by KOMPAS VC as the lead investor. Other investors in the round include seed + speed Ventures, Sustainable Future Ventures, Archimedes New Ventures, and several business angels from the international technology and industrial sectors.
United Manufacturing Hub is an industrial data management platform that enables manufacturing companies to consolidate data from machines, sensors, and IT systems in a central database. The goal is to provide a unified, real-time data source as the basis for digital applications and AI-supported analyses in manufacturing.
UMH's solution is already being used by companies such as HiPP and Böllhoff to digitize their factories.
The new capital will be used to further develop the platform, expand technical connectivity, deepen data modeling and AI capabilities, and further expand into the European industrial sector.
KOMPAS VC was founded in 2021 and is a Danish VC investor with offices in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Copenhagen. The investment company supports start-ups that develop innovative solutions to industrial challenges.
GÖRG, led by partner Dr Bernt Paudtke, advised KOMPAS VC on all legal aspects of the financing round.
