Social responsibility and social commitment are an integral part of GÖRG's corporate culture. As part of a Christmas donation, the law firm supported two organisations that help disadvantaged people.

The official handover of donations to the Off Road Kids Foundation took place on 6 February on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. On behalf of the law firm, Ewa Scheid, Head of HR at GÖRG, and Dr Christoph J. Müller, Partner at the law firm, were able to see the impressive work of the initiative for themselves and hand over the law firm's Christmas donation. A Christmas donation was also made to the Tafel Deutschland organisation. 

Both organisations do valuable work to support people in difficult situations and give them new prospects: 

Off Road Kids is a nationwide aid organisation for street children, young homeless people and young people up to the age of 27 who are acutely threatened with homelessness in Germany. Their aim is to find and realise the best possible individual future prospects for all those affected. They have already received numerous awards for their work. offroadkids.de

Since 1993, Tafel Deutschland has made it its mission to rescue food that can no longer be sold and hand it out to people on low incomes. Over 970 food banks with around 75,000 helpers throughout Germany provide food for 1.6 to 2 million people every year. It is estimated that around 265,000 tonnes of food are saved in the process. tafel.de
