GÖRG advised the shareholders of BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH, based in Ilshofen, Baden-Württemberg, on the sale of the company to SANHA GmbH & Co. KG based in Essen, one of the leading manufacturers of pipework systems, as well as on the sale of the business premises.
Founded in 2001, BTE Biegetechnik Engineering GmbH (BTE) is, like SANHA GmbH & Co. KG (SANHA), a family-run business with strong local roots. As a highly specialised manufacturer, BTE has for many years supplied demanding industrial customers, including those in the medical technology, ventilation technology, agriculture and in the commercial vehicles sector. The company has modern production facilities for a wide range of tube bending and forming products and currently employs around 125 staff. The profitable company’s turnover in the 2025 financial year was around €21 million.
With this acquisition, SANHA is specifically expanding its industrial expertise in the field of mechanical tube processing. BTE’s expertise perfectly complements the Group’s existing technology portfolio and enables even greater vertical integration – from development and production through to series supply for OEM customers.
The SANHA Group regards the integration of BTE as an important step towards strengthening its position as a reliable development partner for OEM customers, particularly in application areas where precision-manufactured pipe components play a central role.
Under the lead of partner Dr Markus Söhnchen, GÖRG provided comprehensive legal advice to the shareholders throughout the entire transaction process.
