The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed more than 1,800 lawyers from 139 law firms for WirtschaftsWoche to find their most renowned colleagues in the fields of banking and finance law and capital markets law. This list was presented to a jury of experts. After assessment by the jury, 21 law firms with 34 highly recommended lawyers for banking and finance law and 16 law firms with 23 highly recommended lawyers for capital markets law were selected.
