How real estate projects can be helped out of the crisis

Our GÖRG partner Prof Dr Gerrit Hölzle spoke to the Immobilien Zeitung in an interview about the StaRUG rescue instrument. The Corporate Stabilisation and Restructuring Act (StaRUG) has been in place since 2021 and can save companies from imminent insolvency. Companies whose business model is in crisis due to the current market situation will be given more time to realign their model or wait for a market recovery with the help of the StaRUG. Real estate developer and project companies in particular have good prospects of getting through difficult times.
