GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised Ufenau Capital Partners on its investment in the Datalogue Group, a leading data analytics service provider for the provision of high-quality market data headquartered in Hamburg.
The Datalogue Group offers highly modern and DSGVO-compliant analytics solutions and supports its diversified customer base in data preparation, evaluation and application with the aim of optimising data monetisation. For this, analytics methods such as artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning as well as a proprietary SaaS platform are used. The company started in 2012 with the two founding partners in Hamburg. In the last 10 years, two additional locations were added in Amsterdam and Zurich. The group now has 65 specialists.
With Datalogue as a basis, Ufenau wants to establish a leading group of companies in the field of data analytics, insight management and data monetisation in Europe. Here, the company clearly focuses on the human factor, which, with the integration of the appropriate tools, can provide the best service to customers at all times.
A GÖRG team led by experienced partners Dr. Tobias Fenck and Markus Beyer provided legal and tax advice to Ufenau during the investment. With the acquisition of the Datalogue Group, the newest fund company, the Ufenau VII Fund with a capital of EUR 1 billion with closing in March of this year, the foundation was laid for the continuation of the successful buy-&-build strategy.
