GÖRG partner Nils Meißner has been appointed as provisional administrator in the self-administration proceedings of AMEVIDA SE by the Essen Local Court. The call center and customer care service provider headquartered in Gelsenkirchen had filed an application for the initiation of judicial self-administration proceedings on May 27, 2025 in order to continue the ongoing restructuring process in a structured manner and to implement the initiated restructuring measures quickly.
"As trustee, it is my task to monitor the proceedings and the management with a view to the interests of the creditors and to support the restructuring process that has been initiated," explained Meißner.
AMEVIDA SE is striving for the sustainable further development of its business model. During the proceedings, business operations will remain fully intact and all customer orders will continue as planned. The wages and salaries of the approximately 2,400 employees are secured through the insolvency substitute benefits of the Federal Employment Agency up to and including July 2025.
The Management Board sees the proceedings as a logical step towards accelerating the restructuring: "In the interests of our customers and our employees, there will be no operational changes during the proceedings. However, the restructuring period will be significantly shortened by the proceedings," explained Dr Matthias Eickhoff, CEO of AMEVIDA SE. The proceedings are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
The company is being supported in the proceedings by an experienced restructuring team consisting of attorney Thorsten Prigge (activelaw), Valentin Röttger (AURICON Unternehmensberatung) and general counsel Thomas Ellrich and Dr Franz Zilkens from VOIGT SALUS.
Meißner thanked all employees, the management and all consultants for their trust and constructive cooperation. Together, they are working with great commitment to make this important restructuring step a success for everyone involved.
