Led by Munich partner Dr. Bernhard Guthy, GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB provided comprehensive legal advice to the AVANTGARDE Group on the sale of the recruitment agency Avantgarde Experts GmbH to the Dutch YER Group. 

With its portfolio of specialised agencies, the AVANTGARDE Group is a pioneer in the global experience economy. Founded at the end of 2007 as recruiting experts for events, AVANTGARDE Experts GmbH has developed into a German market leader in the field of academic recruitment in the mobility & tech sector with around 1,200 employees and a turnover of around 100 million euros last year.

The YER Group, an international recruiting company based in the Netherlands with global locations in Belgium and the USA, acquired one hundred per cent of the shares held by the previous parent company AVANTGARDE and the private equity firm EMH Partners. With this acquisition, the strategic partners aim to further strengthen their market position as recruitment consultants in future-oriented sectors such as tech, mobility and energy on the German market.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is still subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities.
