GÖRG has successfully advised Ufenau Capital Partners (“Ufenau”) on a strategic partnership in the auditing company PKF WMS GmbH & Co. KG (“PKF WMS”) on a strategic partnership. The aim of the transaction is to expand the consulting network in Germany and other countries together with PKF WMS. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
PKF WMS is a leading regional full-service provider of tax, auditing and legal services based in Osnabrück and a member of the international PKF network of auditors and consultants. The consulting and auditing firm primarily serves medium-sized companies and family businesses. With more than 450 employees, including 80 certified experts, PKF WMS operates at a total of six locations in north-west Germany.
Ufenau's newly injected growth capital will be used to further expand the areas of auditing and tax consulting in particular. The focus will be on expanding the service portfolio, investing in new technologies, training and recruiting employees as well as further inorganic growth. Operational management will remain with the managing partners and partners of PKF WMS. The auditors and tax consultants will remain independent.
