After studying law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen and Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Metehan Uzunçakmak, LL.M. completed his legal traineeship in Dusseldorf with stations, among others, at an international law firm in the area of antitrust law. He then completed the Master of Laws “State and Administration in Europe (LL.M.)” at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer with an antitrust law master's thesis entitled "New rules for the digital economy - how extensive is the German scope".
