GÖRG advises Edmond de Rothschild REIM on the acquisition of four residential properties in Berlin

Frankfurt am Main, 04.03.2026

GÖRG advised Edmond de Rothschild REIM (“EdR REIM”) on the acquisition of four residential buildings located in sought-after micro-locations in Berlin. The seed portfolio is the first building block of EdR REIM’s new German Residential Alpha Strategy.

The German Residential Alpha Strategy focuses on mid-market residential properties in core German cities that require active management and are in markets characterised by structurally anchored tenant demand and a persistent housing shortage.

The first four properties of the initial portfolio were acquired through individual transactions via a Luxembourg holding structure. EdR REIM, the real estate investment platform of Edmond de Rothschild, will take over the asset management of the portfolio going forward, supported by its Frankfurt-based team. Its responsibilities include investment oversight, capital allocation, and long-term portfolio planning. Operational asset management will be handled by a local operating partner.

GÖRG provided legal support to the EdR REIM team throughout the transaction, including structuring the acquisition framework and operational implementation. Under the lead of partners Dr Dennis Hog and Cornelia Kinast, EdR REIM is continuing its successful collaboration with GÖRG, once again placing its trust in the firm’s expertise.nsere Expertise.
