His focus is on real estate transactions, asset management and project development.
Expertise
Dr. Dennis Hog has extensive experience and expertise in real estate law and specializes in advising on real estate transactions, asset management and project developments. His clients include international and national investors, private equity companies, funds, banks and project developers.
Dr. Dennis Hog advises on the acquisition and sale of individual properties and real estate portfolios (asset and share deals) as well as sale-and-lease-back transactions and forward deals in all asset classes. A particular focus is on office buildings, logistics and light industrial properties and hotels.
In addition, Dr. Dennis Hog helps clients manage their real estate portfolios and regularly advises them on all issues relating to asset management, especially on negotiating and drafting lease agreements.
Another focus of his work is advising on project developments. Here Dr. Dennis Hog advises on the acquisition of land, the conclusion of building contracts and the letting of the property under construction.
Career
Dr. Dennis Hog is a partner at GÖRG Partnership von Rechtsanwälten mbB*.
Before joining GÖRG, he worked as a lawyer at a major international law firm, a leading German law firm and a law boutique specializing in real estate law in Frankfurt a.M.
After studying law, Dr. Dennis Hog worked at the House of Finance at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and wrote his PhD-thesis about a corporate and capital market law topic. After completing his legal clerkship, he was admitted to the bar in 2010.
From 2010 to 2016, Dr. Dennis Hog and publishes regularly reviews of judgments on rental and real estate law court decisions.
Dr. Dennis Hog is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
