The attorney Dr Kirsten Schümann-Kleber, partner at GÖRG, has been honoured with the AGIS AWARD in the category ‘Lawyer of the Year’. With this award, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Insolvenzrecht & Sanierung (AGIS) recognises her outstanding achievements in the field of corporate restructuring.

The laudatory speech emphasised that Dr Kirsten Schümann-Kleber has been advising on complex restructuring mandates for over 20 years and that she is in demand as an expert both nationally and internationally. Her goal-orientated and balanced advisory approach sets standards in the industry. In addition to her work as a lawyer, she is actively involved in the professional development of insolvency law, including as co-organiser of the Berlin Restructuring Forum and as Senior Advisor to the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association.
