Dr Kirsten Schümann-Kleber, LL.M. is a lawyer and partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in Berlin, specialising in financial restructuring advice as well as financing and refinancing transactions. 

With an LL.M. from the renowned Emory University in Atlanta, GA, her admission as a lawyer in Berlin and as an attorney-at-law in New York and a doctorate in the field of private international law, she brings to her work not only extensive knowledge of German law, but also a special focus on cross-border transactions. Dr Kirsten Schümann-Kleber advises national and international companies and investors in complex financing and refinancing transactions and supports various stakeholders in crisis situations or advises in connection with insolvencies of their contractual partners.
