GÖRG advises Biotech Start-up SeedForward on Seed Round

Under the leadership of Hamburg-based partner Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel, GÖRG provided legal advice to the Osnabrück-based biotech start-up SeedForward GmbH during its € 2 million Seed funding round led by NBank Capital and supported by Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (MBG) mbH and a family office.

Founded in 2018 by Jan Ritter (CTO) and Jacob P. Rohn (CEO), SeedForward is a leading company in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable seed treatments to improve plant growth and yield stability.

The funding will be used to accelerate SeedForward's European expansion and strengthen its position in sustainable agriculture. The company is focused on creating alternatives to chemical-synthetic seed treatments that offer both environmental and economic benefits to growers. Looking ahead, SeedForward is planning a Series A round next year.

Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel has been advising SeedForward on all legal matters since its foundation, as well as in this financing round.
