GÖRG advises HOLT HOLDING SA on joint venture with SSE Renewables for 134 MW onshore wind portfolio
GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of its partner Thoralf Herbold, advised the international project developer HOLT HOLDING SA in the negotiation of structure and conditions for the joint development of a 134 MW onshore windfarm portfolio in northern Germany. HOLT HOLDING SA and the investor, SSE Renewables, the renewable energy division of the UK-headquartered SSE plc, signed a total of five project development agreements for the purpose of implementing the cooperation.
The aim is for HOLT HOLDING SA, together with SSE Renewables, to realise five wind farms with a total capacity of 134 MW in the next years. The joint project development is aimed at obtaining BImSchG permits and subsequent participation in the auction procedures under the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) respectively the conclusion of Power- Purchase-Agreements (PPAs).
GÖRG advised HOLT HOLDING SA comprehensively in connection with the preparation, negotiation and conclusion of project development agreements and other contracts, in particular in the areas of corporate law, energy law and real estate security.
