GÖRG accompanies insolvency proceedings of Rehms Building Technology GmbH in self-administration

Borken/Münster, 22.07.2020

The experienced GÖRG remediation experts Nils Meißner and Dr. Mike Westkamp have been appointed to support the management of Rehms Building Technology GmbH based in Borken. Dr. Michael Schaumann was also on hand to advise. The company, which is active in the field of technical building equipment, has filed an application with the competent district court in Münster for the opening of insolvency proceedings under its own administration due to insolvency.

The aim is to consolidate the Rehms Group and make it fit for the future. Corresponding plans, which had already been drawn up in February 2020, had to be postponed due to the global corona pandemic and the resulting loss of sales. Now the restructuring is to be pushed forward with the help of an insolvency plan.

Applications for self-administration proceedings have also been filed for all subsidiaries. All the companies of the Rehms Group will continue to operate. Attorney Stephan Michels from MICHELS Vorast Insolvency Administration has been appointed by the competent insolvency court as the provisional administrator of the Rehms Group.
