GÖRG advises Edmond de Rothschild REIM on the purchase of the Lichthallen in Augsburg

Frankfurt am Main, 24.01.2024

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, led by Dr Dennis Hog, advised a special fund managed by Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) on the purchase of the Lichthallen in Augsburg.

The Lichthallen is a logistics/light industrial property that was built between 1963 and 1972 and is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment. The property offers tenants first-class logistics and warehouse space with excellent transport connections. The property has around 35,000 square metres of lettable space and is currently almost fully let to Sonepar and Ledvance. The approximately 36,000 m² site is part of Augsburg's largest industrial estate, Lechhausen Nord, which is home to around 350 companies in total.

The acquisition was carried out by the German team of Edmond de Rothschild REIM, which was advised on legal and tax matters by GÖRG. The technical due diligence was carried out by x.projects. BEOS AG was advised by Zenk Rechtsanwälte.
