[Berlin, ] Only minutes away from Berlin’s Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the “Upper West” is now ready for its new tenants. As of 1 May 2017, GÖRG will occupy some 5,000 square meters of the approximately 53,000 square meters of new rental floor space added to City West by the tower and the eight-storey structure in front of it.
The now separate Berlin locations of “GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB” and “GÖRG Rechtsanwälte/Insolvenzverwalter GbR” will occupy floors 20 to 24 of the “Upper West”. Other tenants will lease office space and retail outlets. The lower 18 floors will be occupied by a hotel chain, and the tip of the tower will be occupied by a Skybar.
For GÖRG partner Daniel Seibt, the future address is especially important: “Long-term rental of the office space in the UPPER WEST will support the growth strategy planned for our Berlin location. The driving factors behind the choice of the “Upper West” as the future address for both GÖRG locations in Berlin were the complex’s prominent location and convincing architecture, its flexible floor plans and the breathtaking view it offers of Berlin”.
The new premises at the “Upper West” address mark yet another milestone in GÖRG’s years of steady growth in the Berlin market. The firm’s Berlin office opened its doors in 2002 with some 20 professionals. Since then, the Berlin location, which ranks among the city’s leading commercial law firms, has steadily grown. Today, GÖRG has over 60 professionals based in Berlin. GÖRG’s new “Upper West” offices will provide the space for future growth in Berlin.
