GÖRG advises ebutec Group GmbH on financing package

Cologne, 24.04.2025

GÖRG has successfully provided comprehensive legal advice to ebutec Group GmbH (“ebutec”), a leading one-stop-shop service provider for integrated building energy-efficiency solutions in Germany, on the structuring and negotiation of its first financing package.

The tailor-made financing was provided by the Bank of Ireland, ODDO BHF, and CIC and comprises a senior term loan, a revolving credit facility and an acquisition facility to support the further buy-and-build activities of the group. The new financing marks an important milestone enabling ebutec to expand its leading market position in the field of energy-efficient building refurbishment.

Ebutec is a portfolio company of funds advised by Ufenau Capital Partners and specializes in the decarbonization and digitalization of commercial and industrial buildings across Europe, contributing to a more sustainable future. By combining fully comprehensive planning, customized installation, and a broad service portfolio, ebutec offers its customers an integrated one-stop solution. The group covers the entire value chain across the verticals of roof and facade solutions, HVAC solutions, PV and electric installations, and building automation. Thereby it serves a longstanding and highly fragmented B2B customer base from various end industries.

The financing was legally advised by a GÖRG team led by Dr Thomas Lange, with particular emphasis on the facilities agreement and the intercreditor agreement. Dr Thomas Lange and his team have extensive experience advising national and international companies, banks, and funds in banking and finance law, particularly in the areas of corporate and acquisition financing.

Ufenau has relied on GÖRG’s expertise for many years in connection with transactions and financings in the German market.
