Dr Thomas Lange advises national and international companies on banking and banking regulation law, and financing. He specialises in the areas of corporate finance, acquisition finance and distressed finance.
Dr Thomas Lange advises on a broad range of matters relating to bank law and finance, with a focus on complex financing transactions. His consultancy includes company financing, acquisition financing, commercial financing for real estate and projects, and venture capital financing. He also has significant experience in distressed finance, such as bridge loans, consolidation loans and financial restructuring. His clients include both domestic and international credit institutions, as well as alternative credit providers (especially insurers and funds), private equity sponsors and companies from a broad range of industries.
Dr Thomas Lange is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before moving to GÖRG in 2011, he worked for a major German law firm in Düsseldorf and Munich, as well as for an international corporate law firm in London (UK).
Following his degree in law at the University of Bonn, he obtained his doctorate there under Professor Dr Eberhard Schilken, on a topic of civil procedural law.
He was admitted to the bar in 2006.
