GÖRG, under the leadership of Hamburg partner Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel, provided advised the Hamburg-based start-up Boomerang and its founders as part of a seed financing round of almost EUR 2.0 million. Professional investors as well as private investors via the crowdfunding platform Companisto participated in the financing round.

Boomerang was founded in 2022 and offers sustainable logistics solutions, including a holistic reusable system for shipping packaging to reduce packaging waste in online shopping. This includes flexible shipping bags and robust boxes. The company has also developed a digital deposit system.

Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel has been advising Boomerang since it was founded. In addition to advising companies from a wide range of sectors, from start-ups to market leaders, his clients include investors in the areas of M&A, private equity/venture capital and corporate law. Stephan R. Göthel has extensive experience in national and international company acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate financing as well as management and employee shareholdings.
