Christopher J. Wright, J.D. LL.M. (barrister & solicitor (Ontario, Canada)) advises national and international companies, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, and complex corporate transactions. He has already worked on over 75 company acquisition transactions, almost all of which have had cross-border dimensions, and specialises, in particular, on advising foreign companies on their activities in Germany. As a Canadian-qualified barrister and solicitor (lawyer), he is able to help foreign clients understand matters of German law and market standards, as well as being able to advise medium-sized German companies on dealings with international business partners. Christopher J. Wright, J.D., LL.M. is often the key legal point of contact for foreign companies with regard to all their projects and investments in Germany.

Before joining GÖRG, he worked, for example, as a lawyer for a major international law firm in Toronto (Canada) and Frankfurt am Main, in the field of M&A/tax law. After his degree, with periods of study at the University of King’s College (Halifax, Canada) and Heidelberg University, he obtained his J.D. at the University of Toronto (Canada) Faculty of Law, and qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Ontario (Canada) in 2002. After further studies at the Free University of Berlin, he obtained his LL.M. in 2004.
He has worked at the GÖRG Berlin office since 2007.
