Dr. Cathrin Correll advises and represents national and international companies and the public sector in energy law. Her focus is on environmental law and renewable energies.

She also works in health law.



Dr. Cathrin Correll has been working as a lawyer in public commercial law for more than 20 years. 

She advises and represents companies and the public sector in the field of environmental law, in particular on decarbonisation issues and water law. 

Dr. Correll has many years of experience in providing legal support for complex environmental planning and approval procedures. A particular focus of her advisory practice is project support for renewable energy plants, such as wind turbines. Dr Correll also has in-depth knowledge of water law and assists water-intensive industries in special approval and authorisation procedures.

A further area of her practice is hospital financing law.

As a litigation lawyer, Dr Correll represents clients in administrative and constitutional law, for example in the field of climate protection law in the defence of climate lawsuits.

Her industry focus is on advising industrial companies on environmental law issues, the public sector on decarbonisation issues and hospital operators.


Dr. Cathrin Correll is counsel at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in Berlin. Before joining GÖRG, she worked as an independent lawyer and for renowned law firms in the fields of environmental and constitutional law.

After completing her legal training in Hesse, Dr Correll initially worked as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr Hartmut Maurer at the University of Constance and at the same time obtained her doctorate in law on a constitutional law topic under Prof. Dr Klaus Lange, University of Giessen. 

She was admitted to the bar in 1998.
