Dr Christian Glauer specialises in corporate law, M&A, private equity & venture capital and capital markets law. He offers advice primarily to investors and companies involved in national and international corporate acquisitions and equity capital finance, as well as listed and non-listed companies, on all aspects of corporate law, in particular also in connection with capital measures and general meetings. Moreover, he offers advice in the area of capital markets law, and in connection with takeover bids and mandatory offers in accordance with the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act (WpÜG). Dr Christian Glauer has extensive expertise in the technology sector, and acts as mentor for new businesses.
Before moving to GÖRG, Dr Christian Glauer worked in the Munich office of an auditing firm and in the legal department at FMS Wertmanagement AöR, where he handled management board matters.
After studying law at Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich, Dr Christian Glauer completed his legal training in Munich with clerkships at business law firms in Munich. He subsequently gained his doctorate in law from the University of Regensburg under Prof Dr Wolfgang Servatius, with a thesis on company law. He was admitted to the bar in 2009.
