Dr Clemens Jestaedt advises national and international companies on complex IT & outsourcing projects. He advises, in particular, on all matters of data protection law, and supports companies with GDPR projects. His areas of focus include conclusion of cooperation and service contracts, analysis of structures and processes relating to data protection law, cross-border data processing, drafting the documentation required under data protection law and for terms of business and use.
The industries in which he operates include e-commerce, banks and FinTech, as well as telecommunications.
Dr Clemens Jestaedt is an associate at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.
He completed his studies in law at universities in Mainz and Lausanne (Switzerland), and subsequently obtained his doctorate in Mainz. He also completed his legal training in Mainz, with clerkships in Frankfurt, Johannesburg (South Africa) and Windhoek (Namibia).
He was admitted to the bar in 2017.
In 2018, he worked in the legal department of a major German bank as part of a six-month secondment.
