Dr Jana Julia Hübler works in the area of insolvency administration. She specialises in settling insolvency proceedings, and ensuring the continuation and reorganisation of insolvent companies.
Dr Jana Julia Hübler is a lawyer in the area of insolvency administration, and insolvency and restructuring law. Her range of activities include, in particular, settling insolvency proceedings from many different commercial sectors, and the continuation and reorganisation of insolvent companies. One of her focuses is the examination and enforcement of rescission claims, and claims arising from executive liability.
Dr Jana Julia Hübler is an associate at GÖRG Rechtsanwälte/Insolvenzverwalter GbR.
After her law studies at the University of Cologne, Dr Hübler gained her doctorate under Prof Hanns Prütting, on the subject of “Defaulter self-administration as an instrument for company reorganisation in insolvency cases” (in German). At the same time, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for International and European Insolvency Law at the University of Cologne. As part of her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, Dr Hübler worked in Düsseldorf for an international business law firm in the area of insolvency administration. She completed her clerkship at the United States Bankruptcy Court (Eastern District) in New York (USA).
She was admitted to the bar in 2014. She successfully completed the certification course for insolvency law in 2018.
Dr Hübler is a regular contributor to the “Neuen Zeitschrift für das Recht der Insolvenz und Sanierung” (NZI) on the topic of current European and international insolvency law. She is also a co-author in Nerlich/Römermann, InsO, 32nd ed. EL as well as Vallender, EuInsVO, 2017.
