Dr Marcus Heinemann advises national and international companies on mergers & acquisitions.
Dr Marcus Heinemann’s main speciality is providing comprehensive advice to national and international companies on M&A transactions. He also advises national and international companies on all aspects of corporate law, in particular stock corporation and capital markets law, restructuring measures, contract arrangement and judicial assertion of claims. He specialises in the areas of automotive, energy, the metal and electronics sector, and transport and logistics.
Dr Marcus Heinemann is an associated partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG his roles included managing partner for a specialist book retailer with a legal and economic focus.
Dr Marcus Heinemann started his academic career by studying at the Technical College for Administration, Wiesbaden, based in Kassel. After studying law at Philipps University Marburg and University of Paris XI (France), Dr Marcus Heinemann worked as a research assistant in the Institute for Public Law at Philipps University Marburg. He completed his legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, with secondments at, for example, a business law firm in Hamburg and the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York (USA). He gained his doctorate in law at the University of Passau, with a thesis on a topic of public law.
He was admitted to the bar in 2014.
