Dr Nils Willich advises national and international companies on matters relating to industrial property law, intellectual property (design, copyright and trademark law), competition and distribution law, and in the field of IT and telecommunications. He also represents clients in and out of court before all national courts, as well as the EGC and the CJEU.
Dr Nils Willich advises national and international companies in the fields of industrial property law, IP/IT and commercial law. He specialises in the fields of distribution law, competition law, IT law, and trademark and design law. In addition to managing predominantly IP and commercial law disputes both in and out of court at national and international level, he handles the planning of key contracts and distribution systems.
His industry focuses are in the areas of media and entertainment, commerce and services, industry and transport, and IT and telecommunications.
Dr Nils Willich is an associate at GÖRG.
After studying law at the Free University of Berlin, he completed his legal training in Berlin and New York (USA), with clerkships at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, a major international law firm and the German-American Chamber of Commerce in New York (USA).
He also obtained his doctorate at the Free University of Berlin/Bielefeld University with a thesis relating to “franchising”. During this time he also worked as a research assistant, with a focus on internet law, at a medium-sized law firm in Berlin. He has admitted to the bar in 2018 by the Berlin Bar Association.
