Dr. Timm Theilmann advises national and international companies on Banking and Banking Regulatory Law, Financing. He specialises in the areas of corporate finance, financing of tech companies and distressed debt.
Dr. Timm Theilmann advises national and international companies in all corporate finance matters. In particular, he has considerable experience in advising on equity- and debt-financing of growth- and technology-companies (equity financing rounds, venture debt, syndicated loans, etc.) A further focus of his work is advising on restructurings outside insolvency proceedings and on investments in distressed companies.
Dr. Theilmann is also intensively involved in process-related advice and the use of automation procedures for mass legal tasks (lawsuits, contracts).
His industry focus is on all industries that are specifically affected by the challenges of digitalization.
Dr. Timm Theilmann is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Prior to joining GÖRG, he worked for an Alternative Legal Services Provider in Frankfurt am Main with a focus on process optimization and automation consulting.
Prior to this, he worked as a lawyer for a leading German commercial law firm in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main and for an international investment bank in London. After studying law at the universities of Munich, Frankfurt am Main and Paris and completing his legal clerkship in Frankfurt am, he received his doctorate in law from the University of Munich.
He was admitted to the German bar in 2005.
