GÖRG has successfully implemented an investor solution for Evangelische Dienste Lilienthal gGmbH and its subsidiary Parkstift Osterholz gGmbH as part of their self-administration proceedings, with GÖRG partners acting as restructuring managing directors. The purchaser is Coreh Care Holding GmbH. All four care home sites in Lower Saxony, the outpatient care service, the day care centre in Ritterhude and the school for special needs care, podiatry and occupational therapy will continue to operate. All jobs for the approximately 350 employees have been secured. The transfer is scheduled for 1 January 2027.
GÖRG has been supporting the self-administration process since February 2026, with Prof. Dr Gerrit Hölzle and Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze acting as restructuring managing directors. GÖRG partner Tim Beyer closely supported the self-administration proceedings as team leader. Dr John Frederik Hillmann, an associate partner at GÖRG, coordinated the M&A process. The purchase agreement was signed on 26 October 2026 and approved on 29 October 2026. The companies have their administrative headquarters in Lilienthal, near Bremen.
“We are very pleased with this solution. It secures a stable future for all staff whilst also creating sustainable prospects for the residents and their families. We also expect an exceptionally satisfactory outcome for the creditors in both insolvency proceedings,” says Prof. Dr Gerrit Hölzle, GÖRG partner and restructuring director.
“We are delighted to be shaping the future of Evangelische Dienste Lilienthal together with the approximately 350 employees. Our special thanks go to Mr Henrik Schwarz and Mr Torsten Wieting, who led the companies through a challenging phase with great personal commitment and supported the transition in a constructive manner. Both will remain managing directors of the companies following the completion of the transaction. We are very pleased to retain the established structures as a whole and to develop them further in the long term together with the local teams,” says Jacob Hetzel, Managing Partner of COREH Care Holding GmbH.
Dr Malte Köster of KÖSTERBERNER Sanierungsrecht is acting as Insolvency Monitor. Dr Wieselhuber & Partner advised on the M&A process; Puke Dresen Mall provided business management support.
