Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze advises nationally and internationally active companies in M&A transactions as well as on all issues in connection with crises and restructurings.
In particular, he has considerable experience in advising on complex share deals and asset deals, self-administration and insolvency plan proceedings as well as out-of-court restructurings.
His focus is on the energy, maritime and automotive sectors.
Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze is an partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.
Following his degree in law at the University of Hamburg, Bucerius Law School and Cornell University (USA), Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze completed his legal training in Hamburg with a clerkship in Lima (Peru). He then gained a doctorate in law from the University of Hamburg, mentored by Prof. Reinhard Bork, with a thesis on an insolvency law matter.
He was admitted to the bar in 2015.
