APEX Group (H2APEX) takes over all shares in HH2E Lumbinwerk GmbH via an insolvency plan. GÖRG provided comprehensive legal support to the HH2E Group as part of the insolvency proceedings conducted under self-administration with GÖRG partners Sascha Feies and Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze. With the transaction now complete, the continuation of a leading hydrogen project at the Lubmin site is secured.
After a financing round failed, (provisional) insolvency proceedings under self-administration were initiated in November 2024 with GÖRG partners Sascha Feies and Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze as restructuring managers.
Dr Gordon Geiser from the law firm GT Restructuring was appointed as administrator. As part of the structured M&A process, H2APEX was awarded the contract to acquire the shares in HH2E Werk Lubmin GmbH via an insolvency plan.
“We are pleased about the successful completion of the restructuring of HH2E Lubminwerk GmbH, which ensures the continuation of the promising hydrogen project in Lubmin,” says Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze, partner at GÖRG.
