GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised SITS Germany Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Swiss IT Security AG, on the acquisition of AV-TEST GmbH under the lead management of Dr. Tobias Fenck and Markus Beyer.
The acquisition of AV-TEST GmbH is the 15th addition to the Swiss IT Security Group since its foundation in 2017. Since then, the team led by Dr. Tobias Fenck has been providing advice in Germany.

The company has existed in Magdeburg since 2003 and employs more than 30 people with significant professional and practical experience. The security of IoT and eHealth products, applications for mobile devices as well as the area of data protection of applications and services form the core area. AV-TEST GmbH works at an internationally recognised level and uses analysis systems developed in-house to enable guaranteed test results for all common operating systems and platforms that are uninfluenced by third parties and traceable at all times. In addition, the company is developing the distribution of various IT security products of its own (virus scanners, malware analysis) in order to be able to grow worldwide in this area.
