[Cologne, ] GÖRG is one of the top law firms in the field of public procurement law. In November 2018, the magazine WirtschaftsWoche commissioned an independent jury to identify the top law firms. GÖRG was awarded as one of 51 top law firms for public procurement law.

As part of the selection procedure, the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) first identified 479 public procurement lawyers from 65 law firms. These in turn were to name five renowned colleagues. The resulting list was presented to a jury of experts in the third step. The jurors evaluated the lawyers and law firms mentioned and added missing experts as required. Finally, the HRI weighted the answers from the survey and the jury round. The result is a list of the 51 leading public procurement law firms and 71 particularly frequently recommended lawyers.

The WirtschaftsWoche expert panel and the jury selected two GÖRG partners as leading experts in public procurement law in Germany in 2018: Dr. Lutz Horn and Dr. Kai-Uwe Schneevogl.
