GÖRG advised the Kanalservice Group (“KSG”) on the refinancing of its existing financing structure and the integration of the Spanish company Grupo Sasti (“Sasti”). Both companies form part of the portfolio of funds advised by Ufenau Capital Partners AG.
Together, KSG and Sasti become the leading full-service provider for the maintenance of ‘mission-critical’ underground infrastructure in Europe. The group operates in seven countries, employs more than 2,200 staff and generates a turnover of over EUR 350 million.
The combined business creates an even stronger, complementary platform, serving a diverse client base across multiple sectors whilst leveraging advanced operational expertise and a broad portfolio of services. This puts the group in an excellent position to accelerate growth and drive market expansion further.
KSG was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Switzerland. The company is a highly specialised, full-service provider of critical infrastructure services operating across Europe. KSG provides end-to-end inspection, repair and maintenance services to more than 30,000 customers, including public sector organisations and private households. KSG operates in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
GÖRG provided comprehensive legal advice to the Kanalservice Group, led by a team headed by Dr Thomas Lange, on all aspects of the financing.
The Swiss investment group Ufenau Capital Partners has regularly relied on the expertise of Dr Tobias Fenck and his team for many years when conducting transactions in the German market.
