GÖRG expands AI expertise through strategic partnerships in legal tech

Cologne/Berlin, 26.02.2026

GÖRG is consistently advancing its AI strategy, further strengthening the firm's position as an innovation driver in the legal tech market. The focus lies on strategic partnerships with renowned German AI research institutions and leading European AI tool providers.

As part of a comprehensive project partnership, GÖRG is developing an independent, multi-model AI platform together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS. The platform is specifically tailored to meet the complex requirements of transaction work. The objective is to deploy innovative AI technologies in a practical manner and to establish new standards of efficiency and quality.

At the same time, GÖRG is working with the deep tech company laizee.ai and a specialised AI research team at Aachen University of Applied Sciences on an intuitive, AI-supported platform for the insolvency sector. The solution will significantly accelerate data-driven analyses and further strengthen GÖRG's insolvency practice technologically.

Another key pillar is GÖRG's internal GenAI framework, which has been rolled out throughout the firm since the beginning of 2026. As a central AI transformation project, it provides the foundation for integrating generative AI into client work in a secure, structured and high-performance manner. This project is completed by close partnerships with the European AI tool providers Beck-Noxtua and Legora. The goal is to systematically expand the firm's AI capabilities and make new opportunities scalable and responsibly accessible to clients.

‘The collaboration with Fraunhofer IAIS and FH Aachen, as well as the partnerships with Beck-Noxtua and Legora, are key components of our innovative legal tech strategy. In addition to scientific AI excellence and functional performance, an important criterion in selecting our partners was their commitment to European standards,’ explains Arkadiusz Rzepka, Head of Legal Tech & Digital Transformation at GÖRG.

GÖRG partner Dr Christian Wolf, responsible within the firm’s management for IT and legal tech among other areas, sees the structured use of AI tools as a key element of sustainable law firm development: ‘By developing complex AI solutions in the areas of transaction work and insolvency, and through our partnership with Beck-Noxtua and Legora, we emphasize our commitment to combining proven legal expertise with modern, legally compliant technologies and to actively driving the digital transformation.’
