Dr. Christian Bärenz advises his clients in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency, both in and out-of-court. He focuses on complex cross-border cases, group restructurings as well as distressed debt / distressed M&A transactions.
His practice includes all aspects of insolvency and restructuring with a special focus on cross-border cases, complex group insolvencies and distressed M&A.
Dr Christian Bärenz regularly acts for (foreign) court-appointed insolvency administrators and has been involved in numerous high-profile restructuring cases both in and out of court.
Dr Christian Bärenz is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB and has been head of the Restructuring and advice for Distressed Businesses Department.
Before Dr Christian Bärenz joined GÖRG in 2002, he studied law in Berlin (Freie Universität) and Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne).
He was admitted to the Bar in 2002.
