Dr. Christian Bärenz advises his clients in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency, both in and out-of-court. He focuses on complex cross-border cases, group restructurings as well as distressed debt / distressed M&A transactions.
Christian heads the practice group restructuring and insolvency at GÖRG. His practice includes all aspects of insolvency and restructuring with a special focus on cross-border cases, complex group insolvencies and distressed M&A.
Christian Bärenz regularly acts for (foreign) court-appointed insolvency administrators and has been involved in numerous high-profile restructuring cases both in and out of court.
Dr. Christian Bärenz initially joined GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in 2002 and has been a partner since 2008.
Following his law studies in Berlin (Freie Universität) and Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne), he was admitted to the Bar in 2002.
