Led by its Frankfurt based partner Dr. Tobias Fenck, GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised Ufenau Capital Partners on an investment in IKOR AG, including its national and international subsidiaries. Despite the current adverse conditions caused by the Covid19 pandemic, this transaction was successfully concluded. GÖRG and the team led by Dr. Tobias Fenck provided comprehensive advice in various legal areas and also coordinated the various advisors in other jurisdictions. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the German Federal Cartel Office.
With IKOR AG, Ufenau Capital Partners is counting on a strongly growing company in the software consulting sector, which as a technology consultancy and cross-product integration specialist and as a partner accompanies promotional and commercial banks, insurance companies and industry in the ongoing digitalisation process. IKOR employs more than 200 highly qualified employees at six locations in Germany, Austria, Serbia and Poland and can therefore also offer individual software development in nearshoring. The fragmented market in this environment is ideally suited for a joint buy-and-build strategy to strengthen organic growth and thus successfully continue the strategy of further acquisitions by Ufenau.
