Dr Christian Bürger advises national and international companies on antitrust law.
Dr Christian Bürger offers advice to national and international companies, as well as organisations, on all questions of European and German antitrust law. He also advises companies on investment control under the Foreign Trade and Payments Act. He has many years of experience conducting merger control proceedings, antitrust and abuse cases, antitrust claims for damages as well as compliance systems and employee trainings.
Dr Christian Bürger is a partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. Before joining GÖRG in 2009, he worked for about three years as a lawyer at a major German law firm, specialising in antitrust law.
After studying law at the Universities of Bonn and Göttingen, Dr Christian Bürger completed his law training in Potsdam with clerkships at the German Federal Cartel Office and law firms in Berlin and New York (USA). He gained his doctorate from the University of Freiburg on European merger control.
He was admitted to the bar in 2006.
