Reform of Procurement Law: What local authorities need to know now

On 6 August 2025, the German Federal Cabinet approved the draft reform of Procurement Law. The aim is to speed up the awarding of public contracts, particularly with regard to investments from the special infrastructure fund. But what does the draft mean for local authorities in concrete terms?
