GÖRG advises ENCAVIS AG on the acquisition of a wind farm with a total capacity of 34 MW

Cologne, 26.08.2025

GÖRG provided comprehensive advice to Encavis AG on the acquisition of a wind farm project in Sundern-Allendorf in the Sauerland region. The transaction for the wind farm, which is still under construction, comprises five Nordex N163 wind turbines with a total capacity of 34 MW.

The seller, PNE AG, is constructing the wind farm and will hand over the turnkey project to Encavis. The wind farm, located approximately 50 kilometres from Dortmund, is scheduled to go into operation in the first half of 2026. With an expected annual electricity production of 92 GWh, it will be able to supply around 22,800 households with green energy.

Encavis once again relied on a GÖRG team led by Thoralf Herbold, Dr Ruth Büchl-Winter and Dr Ilka Mainz for this transaction. The advice provided included a legal review of the project as part of due diligence and the drafting and negotiation of all project and purchase agreements.

GÖRG regularly advises investors, operators and project developers on the acquisition, sale and realization of energy generation plants in the fields of wind, solar and storage technologies.

Encavis is one of the leading producers of electricity from renewable energies in Europe.
